Oh ye of little faith were expecting a dud with director Simon Wincer’s belated 2001 third Crocodile Dundee laugh-fest from Paul Hogan, the amiable Aussie. Wrong!
There are enough laid-back laughs here as the Australian adventurer Mick Dundee (Hogan) joins his wife Sue (Linda Kozlowski) and little son (Serge Cockburn) in Los Angeles on the trail of a sleazy film producer and take on a gang of international art thieves.
Though Mike Tyson and George Hamilton make embarrassing cameo appearances, the movie ends up soppy but happy.
Also in the cast are Jere Burns, Jonathan Banks, Alec Wilson, Gerry Skilton, Aida Turturro, Paul Rodriguez, Kaitlin Hopkins, David Clendenning, Duke Bannister, Betty Bobbit, Karen Crone, Patrick Dargan and Morgan O’Neil.
