The Bounty Killer ** (1965, Dan Duryea, Rod Cameron, Audrey Dalton, Richard Arlen, Buster Crabbe, Fuzzy Knight) – Classic Movie Review 7698

Prolific director Spencer Gordon Bennet shot his Technicolor Western The Bounty Killer (1965) along with its double-bill co-feature Requiem for a Gunfighter (1965), each budgeted at $194,000. Rod Cameron stars in both movies, and again it employs several older Western and vintage actors, including Richard Arlen, Larry Buster Crabbe, Fuzzy Knight and Johnny Mack Brown.

Dan Duryea stars as Willie Duggan, who finds easy money in bounty killing but must choose between the violent lifestyle and his new love, beautiful saloon singer Carole Ridgeway (Audrey Dalton).

The Bounty Killer is written by Ruth Alexander and Leo Gordon and shot in Technicolor and Techniscope. It stars Dan Duryea, Rod Cameron, Audrey Dalton, Richard Arlen, Buster Crabbe and Fuzzy Knight.

Embassy Pictures released it with Requiem for a Gunfighter on 31 July 1965.
