Set against the background of a broken US immigration system, writer/ director Tadeo Garcia’s 2017 Mexico/ US romantic comedy drama film A Place To Be [En Algun Lugar] is a moving, persuasive, beautiful love story between two young Latino men, Abel Rendon (Nelson Rodriguez) born in the US, and Diego Guerrero (Andrew Saenz), left in the US with relatives when he was five.

In uncertain times, Abel and Diego discover the power of love that knows no borders when tragedy strikes and Diego’s immigration status is revealed.
