Director Michael D Moore’s 1966 revenge Western film An Eye for an Eye stars Robert Lansing, Patrick Wayne, Slim Pickens, Gloria Talbott, Paul Fix, Strother Martin, Clint Howard and Rance Howard.
To the bitter end, bounty hunters Talion (Robert Lansing) and Benny Wallace (Patrick Wayne) seek Ike Slant (Slim Pickens) and his outlaw band members, who have killed Lansing’s family.
Director Michael D Moore’s 1966 film An Eye for an Eye is a tough, stylish, well-crafted Western.
It is surprisingly impressive, with a good cast, including many very welcome old-timers, giving ideal performances.
It is co-scripted by Sumner Williams and Bing Russell, father of Kurt Russell.
The cast are Robert Lansing as Talion, Pat Wayne as Benny Wallace, Slim Pickens as Ike Slant, Gloria Talbott as Bri Quince, Paul Fix as Brian Quince, Strother Martin as Trumbull, Clint Howard as Brian’s son Jo-Hi Quince, Rance Howard as Harry, Henry Wills as Charley Beetson, and Jerry Gatling as Jones Beetson.
Clin Howard (born April 20, 1959) is the younger brother of Ron Howard, with 200-plus acting credits.
Rance Howard (November 17, 1928 – November 25, 2017) was the father of Ron Howard and Clint Howard, and grandfather of Bryce Dallas Howard and Paige Howard. He was born Harold Engle Beckenholdt and changed his name when he became an actor.
