In the story, a young Victorian couple spends time with the wife’s Aunt Mabel (Mary Jerrold) who behaves like her late husband, the wife’s Uncle James (the voice of Jack Train), is still alive, and his ghostly voice is heard…

The cast are Jack Train as the voice of Uncle James, Mary Jerrold as Aunt Mabel, Jane Barrett as Alice Graham, John Stone as Wilfred Barriteau, Ethel Coleridge as Emily, Hedli Anderson as Millicent, Bertram Shuttleworth as Cabby, Charles Rolfe as Soldier, Sam Kydd as Soldier and Dennis Woodford as Chemist.
