Director Allan Eastman’s 1987 romance movie Crazy Moon [Huggers] stars Kiefer Sutherland as Brooks, a rich, rebellious teenager with a passion for 1930s suits, furniture and big bands, whose life is suddenly changed by a chance meeting with pretty, deaf salesgirl Anne (Vanessa Vaughan). Brooks was stealing a mannequin from the clothes store where she works.

Crazy Moon is a heartwarming Canadian love story, with both actors giving the strong fresh performances needed to bring a touch of realism and edge to an offbeat, sometimes predictable script.
