Two 7ft aliens have invaded Houston, but renegade vice cop Detective Jack Caine (Dolph Lundgren) may just be big enough to stop their trail of carnage. He is forced to work with FBI special agent Lawrence Smith (Brian Benben) to bring down a group of drug dealers and investigate a series of mysterious deaths.

Director Craig R Baxley’s 1990 film Dark Angel is an exciting, imaginative action crime horror fantasy thriller with an excellent range of stunts and special effects, plus chilling bad guys, a plausible plot, a hefty quota of tough action, a dash of comedy and romance, and a good role for Dolph. Matthias Hues plays Bad Alien Talec and Jay Bilas plays Good Alien Azeck.

Also in the cast are Brian Benben, Betsy Brantley, Matthias Hues, Jay Bilas, Jim Haynie, David Aykroyd, Sherman Howard, Sam Anderson, Mark Lowenthal, Michael J Pollard, Jesse Vint and Alex Morris.
