Director Tonino Valerii’s excellent spaghetti action Western Day of Anger [I Giorni dell’ira] (1967) stars Lee Van Cleef, Giuliano Gemma and Walter Rilla.
Giuliano Gemma plays Scott Mary, garbage boy and toilet cleaner in the town of Clifton. He becomes the pupil of newly arrived famed gunfighter Frank Talby (Lee Van Cleef), who goes crazy and overruns the town.
The story is unusual and satisfying, Valerii keeps up a dynamic pace and delivers exciting action, and Van Cleef is on top form, with Gemma good too.
