Django Strikes Again is the only official sequel to Django (1965) produced with the involvement of original director Sergio Corbucci, who created the Django character.
Franco Nero returns to his iconic role as the flinty-eyed coffin-dragger Django, who is back on the revenge trail against a slave-owning Hungarian royal operating a gold mine.
The story is not too bad and the movie looks stylish and sounds pretty good. Nero resumes the role he first played back in 1965 in Django, which set off a long-running, hit series of increasingly violent Spaghetti Westerns.
Director Nello Rossati is billed in the English-language version as Ted Archer.
The main cast are Franco Nero, Christopher Connelly, Donald Pleasence, William Berger, Roberto Posse, Bill Moore, Licinia Lentini (billed as Licia Lee Lyon), Alessandro di Chio, Rodrigo Obregôn, Consuela Reina and Miguel Carreno (billed as Micky).
It is written by Nello Rossati and Franco Reggiani, shot by Sandro Mancori, produced by Nello Rossati and scored by Gianfranco Plenizio.
