Director Joseph Ruben’s 1984 Sci-Fi film Dreamscape stars Dennis Quaid as Alex Gardner, who finds that he can walk into people’s dreams, and so government scientists enlist his help to sort out the US President (Eddie Albert)’s nightmares about the nuclear holocaust.
Dreamscape is an imaginative political Sci-Fi thriller, with enjoyable, larger-than-life acting, competent special effects, spooky dream sequences and plenty of thrills.
Also in the cast are Max von Sydow as Doctor Paul Novotny, Christopher Plummer as Bob Blair, Eddie Albert, Kate Capshaw, George Wendt, David Patrick Kelly, Larry Gelman, Larry Cedar, Cory Yothers, Redmond Gleeson, Peter Jason, Chris Mulkey, Jana Taylor, Madison Mason, Carly Brown, Kate Charleson, Eric Gold, Virginia Kiser, Carl Strano, Brian Libby, Fred M Waugh and Timothy Blake.
