Handsome young American stars of the day, John Derek, John Smith and Nick Adams, are cast as Brock Mitchell, his brother Tracy, and Mikey Sutton in director Gerd Oswald’s surprisingly expert little 1957 support Western.
Gage Clarke plays lawyer Chad Deasey who plots to avenge himself on Brock Mitchell (Derek) for killing his brother in the bad old days before he was a reformed shootist, and soon that means Tracy Mitchell (Adams) is in the line of fire.
The acting and handling are convincing in a persuasive, imaginative movie, which was filmed in just one week!
Also in the cast are Carolyn Craig, Robert E Griffin as Sheriff Clay, Malcolm Atterbury, Rusty Lee, Sydney Smith, Frances Morris, Tyler MacDuff, Robert Adler, Norman Leavitt, Ken Christy and Tom McKee.
Lucas Todd’s screenplay is based on the novel by Jason James.
