Director Michael Kennedy’s 1997 Canadian-made action crime film Hostile Force is a pretty gutsy thriller, with feisty performances and a decent air of realism.
After being shot in a break-in, cops Lucy James (Cynthia Geary) and Tony Reineke (Wolf Larson) go to work for a security company, which is the target of a robbery assault by a gang led by Mr Rabbit (Andrew McCarthy) and crazed killer Mr Pig (Hannes Jaenicke). And now it is up to Lucy James (Geary) to try to save the day.
Also in the cast are Cali Timmins, Hannes Jaenicke, Brent Stait, Peter Hanlon, Sean Milliken, Andrew Wheeler, Colin Cunningham and Ken Camroux.
