Perpetrating a series of crude and risky stunts, and gross-out gags, Johnny Knoxville and a bunch of idiots make asses of themselves in director Jeff Tremaine’s offensive 2002 cinema movie of the offensive TV series.
You have seen the telly show, now see the gross-out pranks get dumb and dumber and dumberer in the movie, as the cast involve themselves with such things as panda outfits in Japan, fun on a golf course and live alligators.
Also in the cast are Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Jason Acuña, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Chris Raab, Rick Kosick, Spike Jonze, Jeff Tremaine and Michelle Klepper.
It is written and produced by Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze.
It comes with a health warning: ‘The following stunts were performed by professionals, so neither you nor your dumb buddies should attempt anything from this movie.’
And it comes with an R rating for dangerous, sometimes extremely crude stunts, language and nudity.
It cleaned up: costing $5,000,000, it took $64,267,000 in the US.
It was followed by Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013).
