Lou Taylor Pucci stars as young Californian chef Evan, who flees the US to Italy when his mom dies and he’s in trouble with the police.
There he meets a couple of other dudes and meets and falls for the alluring temptress Louise (Nadia Hilker), a mystery woman with a dark secret.
I liked Spring very much indeed. It’s exactly my kind of movie. It’s beautifully shot with stylish camerawork on glorious locations, and the two main performances are perfectly judged, swirling you into their relationship. Co-director Justin Benson’s script has wit, intelligence, mystery and a neat sense of humour too.
Spring is unpredictable, creepy and romantic too!
It was filmed in Bari, Apulia, Italy, as well as LA.
