Bill Williams stars as Jess Raidley, who is forced to kill outlaw Jim Dalton (Nelson Leigh), causing Dalton’s daughter Kate (Sheila Connolly, billed as Kelly Ryan) to seek retribution against Marshal Dan Porter (Jim Davis).

The Outlaw’s Daughter is a neat little Western that manages to stand out from the crowd, with decent performances from a workmanlike cast, a good, involving script written by Samuel Roeca, location filming in Sedona, Arizona, and Kanab, Utah, and striking Eastmancolor cinematography by Gordon Avil, Bill Williams and Jim Davis are strong and solid. George Cleveland, Elisha Cook Jr and Guinn ‘Big Boy’ William shine out in support.

The film was released in the US on November 1, 1954, by 20th Century Fox.

Bill Williams, born Hermann August Wilhelm Katt on May 21, 1915 in Brooklyn, was married to Barbara Hale from June 22, 1946 till his death on September 21, 1992, They had three children, including William Katt.

Sheila Connolly was born on March 14, 1930 in Brooklyn. She was married to producer Harry Lee Danziger (twice), and actors Robert Dowdell and Guy Madison. Despite her model girl looks, she had a thin film career.
