Director John English’s neat and nifty little 1945 horror thriller stars Richard Arlen, Stanley Ridges and Lynne Roberts, who make a grand job of John K Butler’s original screenplay in which the evil spirit of an executed murderer enters the body of a doctor and forces him to kill.
Tom Powers plays Harvey Bogardus, the executed cold blood killer, who swears vengeance on everyone. It also stars Charlotte Wynters and Jonathan Hale.
It runs 69 minutes and is a double-feature movie from Republic Pictures, released together with The Vampire’s Ghost (1945), also co-written by Butler.
