Dolph Lundgren stars as the US federal agent Michael Dane, who is sent to locate and abduct Simone Rosset (Maruschka Detmers), the beautiful suspected assassin of the Cuban ambassador in New York before she strikes again at the Cuban-American summit in Prague.
Director Ted Kotcheff’s low-grade regulation 1995 movie provides the usual action thrills, reasonably capably handled by the director of First Blood, with Lundgren on good form.
Also in the cast are John Ashton, Assumpta Serna, Gavan O’Herlihy, Simón Andreu and Pablo Scola.
The story and screenplay are by Yves André Martin, with Meg Thayer and Billy Ray also working on the screenplay. It is shot by Fernando Argüelles, produced by Silvio Muraglia and Paul Pompian, and scored by Stefano Mainetti, with production design by Brian Eatwell.
There is strong violence, strong language and brief nudity.
