Nanni Moretti, Laura Morante and Jasmine Trinca star as a psychoanalyst, his wife and his daughter who suffer through profound emotional trauma when the son (Giuseppe Sanfelice) dies in a scuba diving accident.

Moretti is also the director of Caro Diario (1993) and Mia Madre (2015).
