Writer/ director Rob Moretti’s fairly suspenseful, better-than-expected 2013 American psychological thriller film Truth stars Sean Paul Lockhart (aka Brent Corrigan from erotic films), Rob Moretti, and Blanche Baker. Rob Moretti does a good triple job with playing the lead, writing and directing the film.

Sean Paul Lockhart stars as younger gay guy Caleb, who meets and falls for older gay guy Jeremy (Rob Moretti) after an online chance encounter. Caleb is suffering from borderline personality disorder and struggling to keep secret his past, including his mentally ill mother (Suzanne DiDonna). Caleb’s quest for the truth is revealed after a sudden turn of events finds Jeremy held captive.

The film showcases a surprisingly good piece of acting from Sean Paul Lockhart, who does both sexy and psycho very convincingly. Rob Moretti’s triple tasks as writer, director and co-star are ably carried out too. The story keeps involving and surprising. It’s a bit murky, tacky, grubby and exploitative, but also yet quite thoughtful and even somewhat accomplished, all slickly handled by Moretti. The dialogue, characters and developments are even reasonably credible in Fatal Attraction-style movie terms.

Blanche Baker plays Caleb’s psychiatrist Dr Carter Moore, Suzanne DiDonna plays his mother, and Rebekah Aramini plays Leah Dorian.

Sean Paul Lockhart (born October 31, 1986), known by his stage name Brent Corrigan, is an American film actor and director, known for Milk (2008), Judas Kiss (2011), Truth (2013) and Triple Crossed (2013). After the filming of Truth, he said he was ‘falling apart’ because of memories of his own life experiences that were helpful to playing his character in the film but that he found damaging to his health.
